The Top 10 chart infographic from Billshrink, states that companies ranking on the top are companies from oil and gas industries such as Exxon Mobil, Shell, British Petroleum, Petro China. The rest industries are conglomerate, software and services, consumer durables, and food & beverages like Microsoft, Toyota, Nestle.

It is really interesting that the most profitable companies are oil and gas based. It’s almost believable that alternative fuels were already invented long ago but never saw the light of day due to greed.
