I normally mark these emails as SPAM without looking at the content but for education purposes I have included the content of one email below to show the type of businesses to avoid for any SEO services.

These low-lifes offer some BS service they called ‘SEARCH SUBMISSIONS’ and send the registered person of the domain an email which is designed to look like a bill, thats my opinion of course but take a look below.

How this works is that these scammers have software that locates domains and automatically sends the contact email address of the domain an email much like the example below. They get an email address through scanning your websites content such as the contact us page.

My advice to small business owners is to first read our article on SEO which tells you how to do SEO yourself, follow the steps and you will end up doing a better job than most ‘experts’.

Of course the businesses did not deliver and for the simple fact that you cannot second guess Google. If you could ‘guess’ how to get your website on the first page of Google and remain there then you should be in charge of Google!

Some SEO ‘experts’ will tell you that they know how Google ranks web sites, some will tell you they have an ‘inside man’ in Google, some will guarantee that they will get you on the front page of Google. If any business mentions any of those statements do not use them. Each statement is total BS.

Word of mouth is the most powerful marketing tool a business can ever wish for so if you can increase the amount of recommendations then your customers will do the marketing for you including talking about you on Facebook, Twitter, forums etc. That’s zero cost to you and with third party endorsement – is there anything better than that?

There’s no question about it, managing a website’s links has gotten so complex and time consuming that many do-it-yourself e-trepreneurs have discovered that doing it properly requires stealing badly needed time and attention from the income-generating part of their business.

Search engine optimization is a one of a kind industry since it’s probably one of the few, if not the only industry, where no one has the all the right answers. Google is in control and immediately when someone is even close to catching on to their search engine pattern – the algorithms switch.
